During law school, Eddie founded the UNB Law Future of Energy Club, served on the Faculty’s Truth and Reconciliation Committee, and was actively involved in student leadership, alumni engagement, and initiatives focused on promoting Indigenous self-determination and reconciliation. Eddie also contributed to energy-sector governance through his board involvement with Smart Grid Innovation Network Canada.

Prior to attending law school, Eddie graduated from the University of Victoria with a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom), specializing in International Business. He also gained experience in property management, construction operations, business development, legal administration, and general legal practice.

Eddie is continuing his legal development as a Student-at-Law with Castle & Associates. His legal interests include civil litigation, family law, Aboriginal law, Indigenous law, energy and resource development, advocacy, and client service.

Outside of law, Eddie is a dedicated cyclist, long-distance runner, and former junior A and collegiate hockey player. He is also a longtime rider and fundraiser for the Tour Alberta for Cancer. Eddie remains active in community service and recently supported youth recreation and sports programming with St. Mary’s First Nation, a community that became especially meaningful to him during his time in New Brunswick.
