Bryna Anne B. Nacomel
Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Bryna's path to a career in law began through a longstanding commitment to community service. She volunteered with youth initiatives before dedicating her time to the Elizabeth Fry Society, where she gained firsthand insight into the challenges many individuals face when navigating the legal system. These experiences inspired her to pursue a career focused on advocacy and access to justice.
Bryna earned her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of New Brunswick. During law school, she volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada, contributing to the Imprint Trans ID Clinic and the Cooper Institute. She also completed an internship with the Canadian Centre for Housing Rights, where she further developed her advocacy skills and deepened her understanding of the complex and intersecting legal, social, and personal issues that can affect clients.
Prior to law school, Bryna received her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science from the University of Calgary in 2021.
Outside of her legal practice, Bryna enjoys creating digital art, exploring Calgary's local coffee shops and restaurants, and spending time with her family and friends.
