Daniel practices in Family Law, Wills and Estates, and Civil Litigation. He was called to the Alberta Bar in 2015. Originally from Calgary, he completed his Bachelor of Arts at McGill University in 2009, with a major in Linguistics and a minor in Cultural Studies. He went on to graduate from Queen's University Faculty of Law in 2014, where he was on the Dean's Honour List. While at Queen's, Daniel was a caseworker at his school's Legal Aid and Business Law Clinics, representing low-income Kingston residents before the Ontario Court of Justice and Social Benefits Tribunal, and advising them on corporate and not-for-profit matters. In his last year at Queen's, Daniel represented his school at the Gale Cup, Canada's premier bilingual mooting competition.
Daniel joined Castle & Associates in 2016 after practicing at a small Calgary firm specializing in civil litigation and administrative law. He has represented clients at all levels of Court in Alberta and has appeared as junior counsel at several trials in the Court of Queen's Bench involving wrongful termination, shareholder oppression, professional negligence, and commercial lease disputes.
In his spare time, Daniel enjoys movie nights, travelling, and staying active with resistance training and running.
